How To Make Paper Dolls with my printable on ETSY....
I had a friend ask me the other day what a "printable" was in my Etsy store. When it came up again during an etsy message I realized that I need to explain it. :). I was surprised how many people are unsure of what they actually are. I only have a few printables in my Etsy store and they are mainly for art journals or junk journals. I have big plans of making more! They are just so fun and I love sharing them! Here is an example of how you can you my printable watercolor girl faces. You can find them HERE in my Etsy shop.
Buying and downloading a printable off of ETSY is really easy! You literally get sent a PDF file and you can use it over and over again! All you need is a printer, or a USB drive and take it to your local printer! I thought it would be fun to make a paper doll out of my watercolor faces. This would be a fun project to do on a rainy day with a granddaughter or to make one for your journal. To get started, you will need a copy of my faces (I printed them out on copy paper and photo paper, and liked the copy paper best), a glue stick, scissors, cute papers and whatever embellishments you would like (I used Washi tape on one of them, anyone else out there addicted to Washi tape?).
I started by cutting out some of my favorite heads and cutting around their hair. I then picked out pretty papers for the dresses and the arms and legs. You could get so creative during this part! I thought it was fun to make their legs and arms out of different papers to make them really unique. I used a glue stick to glue them all together. I am going to add them into my journal page and create art around them! Stay tuned for the final pages!

The project from start to finish only took me about 30 minutes. The weather is turning and Fall is definitely fall, the perfect time to cuddle up in the house, make a cup of tea and get creating!
Happy Fall!
XOXO,
